What is the qEEG?
A qEEG, or quantitative electroencephalogram, is often referred to as “brain mapping.” It’s a painless, non-invasive, and entirely safe procedure.
Our skilled technician places a comfortable rubber cap on your head and attaches electrodes that measure your brainwaves. There are no electrical currents or scary radiation involved.
Every qEEG is as unique as a fingerprint. Your brain’s activity is your very own symphony, unlike anyone else’s. With the qEEG, we unveil these intricate rhythms, identifying patterns that may signal less-than-optimal neurological conditions.
And when we have that insight, our doctors and scientists are able to craft a personalized treatment approach which utilizes TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) in a highly customized way to help you achieve the best possible outcomes. Once you have done your quantitative EEG and provided information about any conditions and symptoms you have been experiencing as well as history, past treatments, and other vital information, this is all sent to the Doctors and Scientists at Wave Neuro, the parent company behind MeRT technology.
It is there that an extensive review and complete analysis of each patient’s diagnostics and information is done.
A patented approach with your neurophysiological data is used to develop a completely customized treatment plan with the goal of improving brain connectivity, communication, and function.
All MeRT treatment parameters are approved by a licensed neurosurgeon or physician and followed exactly at our clinic for each patient.
Initial Analysis Consultation
After your results have been reviewed and analyzed to determine the specific treatment protocol for your treatment, you will have a one-on-one consultation with our clinician to discuss the results and your treatment plan.
During your consultation, we can answer any questions that you still may have, and explain fully what you can expect during your treatment period.
We also use the initial qEEG information as a baseline, and then we can track your progress after each two-week period of treatment. We will repeat the qEEG after every 10 days throughout treatment to track your progress.

If at any point, you are interested in looking into treatment further, she can also schedule you for the next steps, which is a qEEG (non-invasive brain scan) followed by a consultation several days later. Once the qEEG is done, the doctors and scientists at Wave Neuro will carefully study and analyze your testing and symptoms, the results of which will be discussed at a consultation with our clinician who can show you what is happening neurologically. At this point, we can determine if there are benefits to be had from MeRT Treatment, and you can decide if you would like to move forward.
