MIND ALGN, a technology-based healthcare company focused on treating the mind with the latest in neuroscience non-invasive therapy, is looking for an Hourly/Part-Time Psychiatrist or PMHNP to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland.  MIND ALGN is a licensed offeror of Wave Neuroscience’s cutting edge patented technology for non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

 

The Psychiatrists or PMHNP we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on quality patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs so bedside manner is of great importance.  Areas of practice that naturally fit into this role include, but are not limited to, pain management, physical therapy, sports medicine, integrated health, integrated wellness and head injury specialists.

 

Position Details

  • Two Shifts Per Week, 8:30am-5:30pm (Opportunity to grow into Full-Time Role)
  • 16 Hours / Week Initially
  • Daily census is around 8-16 PPD

 

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Maryland State Medical License (DC and Virginia Licenses also a plus)
  • Current Maryland DEA certificate
  • Active individual medical malpractice liability insurance certificate
  • Credentialed with United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna and CareFirst
  • Specialty board certifications (optional)
  • BC in an ABMS Specialty
  • Training on TMS and the EEG system and technology

NeuroTech & Patient Care Coordinator

The NeuroTech & Patient Care Coordinator position is responsible for overall patient care at MIND ALGN. The role will shift between administrative tasks to support the clinic and administering Electroencephalogram (EEG) & MeRT treatment to patients. This position is vital to our clinic and patients and allows for one-on-one interaction with our patients throughout their experience at MIND ALGN.

 

Position Details & Duties

  • Providing excellent patient service and care
  • Administering MeRT treatment to patients
  • Administering EEG recording to patients
  • Utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, documenting and tracking patient progress
  • Exercising proper care and maintenance of coil, MeRT machines, and EEG caps
  • Ensuring MeRT and EEG treatment rooms are prepped before patient’s arrival
  • Providing appropriate and educated responses to patients and families questions or concerns regarding treatment
  • Greet and direct all clients upon entering facility, explain paperwork, patient’s rights, consent forms
  • Create invoices & process all accepted forms of payment appropriately and accurately
  • Office administrative tasks such as managing leads, scheduling appointments, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to learn and use MeRT Client, Deymed Software & our EMR platform to record patient notes during treatment
  • Able to stand on your feet for up to 30 minutes at a time
  • Ability to hold the coil on a patients’ head for a minimum of 60 seconds
  • Ability to learn & administer EEG’s using supplies as directed
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and follow HIPAA patient privacy guidelines
  • Cheerful presence and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated role as a team player
  • Attention to detail, able to establish priorities and use good judgment
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced, changing environment
  • Maintains professionalism at all times

 

Education/Certification:

  • College Degree Preferred, High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Bilingual preferred
  • HIPAA Certification/CPR & AED Certified
